Objective of the Role

As a Get Set Hire (GSH) Warehouse Operative you are instrumental in contributing to a positive customer experience by ensuring that the right merchandise and equipment, in good working condition, is received by the client. GSH is continuously working on minimising our global carbon footprint and Warehouse Operatives should support GSH in this task wherever possible.

Core Responsibilities

· Accurately, safely, and neatly load and unload merchandise and equipment onto and from Company vehicles.

· Maintain and execute exceptional customer service skills when dealing with clients.

· Pick or return stock to the warehouse.

· Ensure the warehouse is always kept neat and tidy.

· Perform stock control tasks in the warehouse as directed by your line manager or supervisor.

· Ensure the prompt turnaround of stock (rain tent sides etc) as directed by a supervisor or manager.

· Ensure the equipment is checked correctly on dispatch and return, ensuring the equipment is kept in an optimum condition.

· Exercise flexibility with rotating shift patterns to help meet business needs.

· Take on additional tasks as directed by a manager or supervisor.

· Work and communicate effectively with other teams.

· Maintain eye for detail putting quality first when dealing with the stock.

· Meticulous approach to checking goods in and out.

Ideal Requirements

· Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

· Driving licence required

· Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.

· Always wear a Hi-Viz unless specifically asked to remove it by a senior member of the Production team.

· Helpful manner to both colleagues and customers.

· Always present a smart and tidy appearance.

· Use problem-solving skills to help achieve client requests.

· Can do attitude.

· Good time keeping

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months
