Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory & Pallet Handling Associate to assist with a large-scale warehouse organization and inventory project. This temporary role involves moving, organizing, and tracking approximately 301 pallets and inventorying thousands of books, then placing them in designated locations on warehouse shelving.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate manual pallet jacks to move pallets within the warehouse
  • Move, organize, and stage approximately 301 pallets according to project requirements
  • Inventory and count large volumes of books with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Label, track, and place inventory in designated shelving locations
  • Follow layout plans and instructions for proper placement and organization
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Communicate progress and report discrepancies or issues to supervisors

Skills

  • Prior warehouse, inventory, or material handling experience preferred
  • Experience using manual pallet jacks required (forklift experience a plus, not required)
  • Ability to accurately count, track, and document inventory
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials (up to 50 lbs)
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: $16.50 per hour
