Job Summary
Reports to Plant Manager and is responsible for the oversight of Shipping Department and the supervisory functions relating to planning, organizing, and leading a team to accurately load finished goods and other products to meet department objectives. Provides direct and indirect supervision over multiple shifts.

Position: Warehouse Supervisor
Job Summary
Reports to Plant Manager and is responsible for the oversight of Shipping Department and the supervisory functions relating to planning, organizing, and leading a team to accurately load finished goods and other products to meet department objectives. Provides direct and indirect supervision over multiple shifts.
Responsibilities
- Ability to lead, motivate, and direct individuals and teams to meet stated company objectives in loading accuracy and productivity.
- Provide performance feedback, positive encouragement, and issue discipline as needed.
- Assign employees to correct location based on priorities and to prevent deviations from shipping schedules.
- Provide root cause analysis for issues that arise during shift.
- Report KPI's for their shift daily, and weekly, to plant management group.
- Balance the level of labor cost and productivity requirements during assigned
- Responsible for the motivation and development of subordinates to optimize their performance and personal
- Maintains a high level of cleanliness and organization in the shipping and truck dock areas including the outside trailer apron.
- Maintains a safe working environment including ensuring trailer wheel chocks and dock safety chains are in place and maintained in good condition.
- Oversee other routine housekeeping as required.
- Ensure and maintain accurate multisite warehouse inventories, reports, and correct any discrepancies.
- Ensure all incoming shipments are processed and received in a timely manner.
- Monitor raw material inventory and order raw materials as needed for production.
- Performs any other tasks as may be assigned by the Plant Manager or Production Manager.
- Assist in related department activities and perform related duties, as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years proven experience as a lead or production supervisor in a manufacturing environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of raw and finished product specifications
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work with minimum supervision - self starter
- Strong interpersonal skills
