Warehouse and Electrical Maintenance Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse & Electrical Maintenance Assistant to support daily warehouse operations for commercial refrigeration equipment. This role is responsible for receiving and organizing inventory, supporting logistics, and performing minor electrical or equipment maintenance as needed.

This is a hands-on warehouse role with opportunities for growth. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-focused, and demonstrates leadership potential, as this position may develop into a warehouse supervisory role as the operation grows.

Duties

  • Receive, inspect, store, and distribute parts and equipment
  • Load and unload trucks and move pallets using warehouse equipment
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock audits
  • Organize warehouse space to improve efficiency and workflow
  • Track shipments and assist with logistics coordination
  • Perform minor electrical or equipment repairs under supervision
  • Maintain warehouse tools and equipment
  • Follow safety procedures and company policies
  • Collaborate with the service team, vendors, and suppliers
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of warehouse, logistics, or inventory management experience
  • Forklift experience (certification preferred)
  • Basic electrical knowledge for minor equipment repairs
  • Experience with inventory or warehouse management systems preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to50 pounds
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks

Work Environment

This position works primarily in a warehouse environment supporting commercial refrigeration equipment operations. Duties include moving inventory, coordinating shipments, and assisting with basic equipment maintenance.

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
