Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Magnet children's hospital in Oregon, requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience and an active or pending OR RN license.

Details

  • Labor & Delivery unit within a children's hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule: 7p–7:30a, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hrs/week)
  • Weekends required as needed
  • Holidays required as needed
  • Scrubs are provided for L&D
  • Charting system: Epic (training provided)
  • Free parking available in any unrestricted space
  • Floating within the unit and across the health system is required — refusal to float as requested may result in contract cancellation

Requirements

  • Active OR RN license, or documented proof of OR license application and fingerprints, required
  • Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required; 2 years strongly preferred
  • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP Advanced, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring or Relais Fetal Monitoring
  • Maternal Fetal Triage Index (MFTI) certification preferred
  • Previous travel nursing experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Epic EMR training will be provided upon start
  • Candidates must complete any assigned education within one week of starting the assignment
  • Low census cancellations must be communicated at least 1.5 hours before the start of a shift
  • COVID vaccination card required with no exemptions accepted
  • Contract length is 13 weeks minimum, with interest in longer assignments welcomed
