Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit:
The Office of the Registrar supports UNCW's mission by providing academic support services including student services and academic records management; degree and diploma processing; student academic information systems management; administration of regulations and policies of the Faculty Senate, academic eligibility of athletes and, as prescribed in the policies of the university and the Code of the University of North Carolina, maintenance of archives; and system-wide reporting (in collaboration with the Office of Institutional Research) of enrollment, courses and degrees awarded.

Brief Summary of Work for this Position:
The Student Records Clerk serves as the primary contact for transfer credit in the Office of the Registrar. Duties include accurate data entry of transfer credit by the given deadline, responding to all e-mails and voicemails related to transfer credit, and assisting the office with any transfer credit related issues. This position will also oversee any data entry performed by student workers and/or temporary employees.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.

Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Data entry/keyboarding skills and familiarity with computer applications are helpful for success in this position.
