Role Overview The Senior Research Analyst plays a critical role in executing high-quality research through technical survey design, programming, testing, and fieldwork management. This role is heavily focused on building and programming surveys (including complex logic) for both ADIY and Full Service projects. This person will be trusted to own survey builds end-to-end, translating questionnaires and research objectives into clean, efficient, respondent-friendly survey experiences. What This Role Requires <ul> <li>Strong experience in DIY online survey programming and QA (logic, flow, piping, randomization, quotas, etc.)</li> <li>Ability to think technically and troubleshoot survey/platform issues quickly</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality execution</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment</li> <li>Strong communication skills with internal teams and client-facing stakeholders</li> <li>A proactive, solution-oriented mindset </li> </ul> Responsibilities <ul> <li>Program and build surveys on aytm’s proprietary platform for both ADIY and Full Service projects.</li> <li>Translate client questionnaires and research objectives into effective surveys.</li> <li>Translate client data deliverable requirements (e.g., tables, simulators, specs) into clear documentation for Data teams, and QA outputs to ensure accuracy and alignment with client expectations.</li> <li>Review survey instruments for clarity, logic, grammar, structure, and best practices, recommending improvements that strengthen data quality and respondent engagement.</li> <li>Execute thorough end-to-end QA on programmed surveys.</li> <li>Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate survey tool/platform-related technical issues, partnering with internal teams to resolve efficiently.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Launch and manage fieldwork for market research studies in partnership with Panel Operations.</li> <li>Monitor fieldwork performance, quotas, incidence, LOI, and respondent quality metrics.</li> <li>Provide timely updates to stakeholders on progress and risks, adjusting execution as needed to meet project goals.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Partner with Research Managers and internal stakeholders to ensure surveys align with research objectives and client expectations.</li> <li>Provide executional support for moderate-to-complex studies while maintaining ownership of technical survey implementation.</li> <li>Build charts, tables, and reporting deliverables with a strong focus on accuracy.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Ensure reporting outputs meet internal QA standards and client expectations.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Maintain organized project documentation and programming assets.</li> <li>Complete project closing tasks including final checks and cost analysis support.</li> <li>Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing programming learnings, best practices, and workflow enhancements.</li> <li>Work independently and collaboratively within a remote, entrepreneurial environment.</li> </ul> Qualifications <ul> <li>3–5 years of experience in the market research industry.</li> <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in market research, social sciences, mathematics/statistics, or related field.</li> <li>Direct experience building and programming surveys in online survey platforms (DIY-oriented preferred), such as: aytm, Qualtrics, Decipher, SurveyMonkey, Alchemer (SurveyGizmo), QuestionPro, etc.</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of the full online research lifecycle: questionnaire design, programming, fielding, data delivery/reporting.</li> <li>Proven ability to execute technical survey logic and troubleshoot complex programming, including typing tools</li> <li>Working knowledge of data deliverables and reporting outputs (e.g., tab specs, simulators), with the ability to translate client requirements and QA final outputs.</li> <li>Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a quick-turn environment.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.</li> <li>Self-starter with strong ownership mentality and drive for impact.</li> </ul> What we offer: A work environment built around empathy, creativity, curiosity, organic growth and an abundance mindset.
