Server/Waiter
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and accommodating special requests
- Maximize sales by upselling menu items and promoting daily specials
- Ensure accuracy in order taking and delivery to ensure customer satisfaction
- Handle cash and credit card transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and condiment stations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
- Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide a positive dining experience for guests
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Familiarity with POS systems for order taking and payment processing
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and guest relations
