Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

<p><strong>Robert Half Technology</strong> is seeking a <strong>detail-oriented and highly motivated Senior QA Analyst</strong> for an exciting full-time opportunity with a growing technology-driven organization in <strong>Orange County, CA</strong>. This is a strong opportunity for a mid-to-senior level QA professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys working across manual testing, API validation, SQL/data checks, and web-based applications.</p><p><br></p><p>This position will play a key role in supporting product quality across both internal-facing and client-facing web applications, while helping reduce manual testing bandwidth from senior QA leadership. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in manual QA, a solid understanding of backend and front-end testing, and the ability to validate data across systems and migrations. Candidates with exposure to automation tools will also be highly attractive, as the team is moving in that direction over time.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Execute <strong>manual test cases</strong> across web-based applications, APIs, and backend systems</li><li>Identify, document, and track <strong>bugs, defects, and issues</strong> through resolution</li><li>Collaborate closely with <strong>developers, product managers, and QA leadership</strong> to clarify requirements and ensure acceptance criteria are met</li><li>Perform <strong>regression testing</strong> prior to releases</li><li>Verify <strong>bug fixes and enhancements</strong> in staging and production environments</li><li>Maintain and update <strong>test cases, QA documentation, and testing workflows</strong></li><li>Conduct <strong>API testing</strong> using tools such as <strong>Postman</strong></li><li>Perform <strong>manual data validation</strong> and support <strong>SQL-based testing</strong></li><li>Assist with <strong>database migration validation</strong> and ensure data integrity across systems</li><li>Test both <strong>internal-facing tools</strong> and <strong>external client-facing web products</strong></li><li>Participate in <strong>Agile ceremonies</strong> and support established QA processes</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><strong>2+ years of software QA experience</strong>, ideally in <strong>manual testing</strong></li><li>Strong experience testing <strong>web applications, APIs, and backend systems</strong></li><li>Experience with <strong>Postman</strong> or similar API testing tools</li><li>Working knowledge of <strong>SQL</strong> for data validation and testing</li><li>Familiarity with <strong>bug tracking tools</strong> such as <strong>Jira</strong> or <strong>Azure DevOps</strong></li><li>Strong communication skills and high attention to detail</li><li>Solid understanding of the <strong>software development lifecycle</strong> and <strong>Agile environments</strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p><ul><li>Exposure to <strong>Selenium</strong> or other automation testing tools</li><li>Experience supporting <strong>database migrations</strong></li><li>Familiarity with <strong>.NET environments</strong></li><li>Exposure to <strong>Python</strong> on the testing or data side</li><li>Experience working in <strong>data-heavy or transaction-based environments</strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Compensation & Work Modality</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Target base salary:</strong> $95,000–$125,000</li><li><strong>Work schedule:</strong> Hybrid</li><li><strong>Onsite requirement:</strong> 3 days per week, 2 days WFH</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>If you are interested in learning more, please apply today or reach out directly to Robert Half Technology for immediate consideration.</strong></p>
