Job Title: Sales Engineer – Solar hot water & Electric Water Heating Systems
Reports To: Head of Sales
Location: Building Material Mall, Warsan Dubai
We are seeking an experienced technical Sales Engineer to promote and sell our range of electric water heaters and solar hot water systems. The ideal candidate will bridge technical expertise with commercial sales, acting as a consultant to contractors, developers, and consultants to provide energy-efficient, sustainable, and reliable water heating solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Actively identify and secure new sales leads, build long-term relationships with MEP contractors, consultants, developers, and consultants to generate project opportunities.
- Technical Sales & Support: Analyze client requirements, conduct site visits, and perform system sizing for solar water heating and electric systems.
- Proposals & Tenders: Prepare and present comprehensive technical-commercial proposals, including drawings, technical submittals, data sheets, and BOQs.
- Project Management: Support project managers by coordinating with internal technical and procurement teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Market Analysis: Keep updated on competitor activity, market trends in renewable energy, and regional building regulations regarding hot water systems.
- Revenue Growth: Achieve or exceed assigned monthly/yearly sales targets.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in technical sales within the GCC construction/MEP/HVAC sector, specifically with water heaters and solar thermal systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office Suite.
- Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
- License: Valid driver’s license (e.g., UAE).
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of monthly/annual sales revenue targets.
- Increase in project specifications (consultant approvals).
- Quality and accuracy of technical submittals.
- Client acquisition and relationship management.
