Position Overview

Retail Staff members are the heart of our Farm Store experience. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service, maintaining an organized and attractive store environment, and supporting daily operations. We’re looking for someone friendly, dependable, energetic, and excited about local food and community connection.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service
• Operate point-of-sale system and handle transactions accurately
• Stock shelves, rotate products, and maintain attractive displays
• Receive and organize deliveries
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
• Answer customer questions about products and local vendors
• Support inventory management and restocking
• Assist with opening and closing procedures

Required Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs and stand for extended periods
• Must be available to work weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Retail or food service experience
• Experience working in a farm store, grocery store, or café
• Interest in local food systems and sustainable agriculture

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
