Description
As a Residential Driver at Waste Management, you will operate heavy-duty trucks and be responsible for collecting residential household waste or recyclable materials. Responsibilities
- Operate truck in accordance with WM Safety and Life Critical Rules, OSHA, and DOT requirements
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the truck and document checks
- Report unsafe situations or service-related issues immediately
- Attend and participate in required training programs and meetings
- Communicate effectively with Dispatch or Route Manager
- Ensure the cleanliness of customer locations after service
- Follow route assignments and complete end-of-day documentation
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Hold a current Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License with an air-brake endorsement
- 1 year of experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL or equivalent military driving within the last 7 years
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
