[Remote] Tax Advisory Manager (100% Remote)

They are seeking a client-facing professional to handle tax filings and provide strategic tax planning for small and medium-sized businesses while mentoring a team of tax accountants. Responsibilities • Handle a range of tax filings across corporate, individual, and partnership entities at federal and state levels for small and medium-sized businesses (Giving you the opportunity to speak directly with their decision makers!) • Stay current with industry updates and actively pursue professional development opportunities • Conduct thorough research on tax legislation, solving complex problems and advising clients on strategic tax planning • Oversee a small team of Tax accountants; serving as both a mentor and day-to-day advisor on tax pronouncements / research areas • Collaborate closely with clients to gather information and ensure timely submissions, while maintaining clear communication within the team Skills • 6+ years of applicable public Accounting/Tax experience with SMB Tax experience • CPA completed or In-progress • Ability to be successful in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment • Interest in current technology and market strategies • Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and being collaborative with your team Benefits • Great work/life balance – Position is fully remote w/ opportunities for travel. • Employees are encouraged to be leaders in their industry; serving as speakers at regional/domestic conferences, providing training to both clients and staff, and idea generation to assist the growth of our firm. • Mid-size tax consultancy firm recognized for workplace diversity and employee support. • Amazing company culture!
