(Remote) Part-time Adjunct Instructor - Department of Industrial and Management Systems Engineering

<p style="font-family: Arial; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">The Department of Industrial and Management Systems Engineering (IMSE) at West Virginia University (WVU) invites applications for remote part-time adjunct instructor positions to support its ongoing expansion and the strategic initiative of enriching its online graduate education and research. </span></p> <p style="font-family: Arial; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">The candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas are highly desirable: </span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: Arial; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Industrial Engineering </span></li> <li style="font-family: Arial; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Engineering Management </span></li> <li style="font-family: Arial; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Occupational Safety and Health </span></li> <li style="font-family: Arial; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Safety Engineering</span></li> </ul><br><br><p style="font-family: Arial; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Eligible candidates must hold an earned doctorate in Industrial/Safety Engineering or a closely related discipline at the time of appointment and must have the ability to: </span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: Arial; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Advise/mentor online doctoral students. </span></li> <li style="font-family: Arial; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Teach and develop online asynchronous courses. </span></li> </ul> <p style="font-family: Arial; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Candidates with BS and MS degrees in Industrial/Safety Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited university with significant (10+ years) experience will also be considered. </span></p> <p style="font-family: Arial; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Candidates with active research experience in their area of expertise, academic publications, and an interest in advising/mentoring doctoral students are highly desirable. </span></p> <p style="font-family: Arial; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 14px;">West Virginia University is the comprehensive Land Grant University of the State of West Virginia and a Carnegie Classification of Highest Research Activity (i.e., R1 University).
