As a Remote Data Entry Technician on our Customs Brokerage team, you will directly influence our clients’ ability to clear customs without delay, reduce penalties, and maintain strong relationships with trade authorities worldwide. This part‑time, fully remote position offers a flexible schedule while providing meaningful, impact‑driven work. Key Responsibilities Accurate Data Entry: Input customs declaration details into the Zenvora operating platform with a focus on 99.9% accuracy and zero data‑entry errors. Document Interpretation: Review import documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin to extract required data points. Compliance Verification: Cross‑check each entry against regulatory requirements (U.S. Customs & Border Protection, CBP, and other relevant agencies) to ensure full compliance. Workflow Management: Follow daily and weekly workflow metrics, prioritizing tasks to meet internal service level agreements (SLAs) and client expectations. Customer Interaction: Provide polite, professional, and timely responses to internal stakeholders and external clients, cultivating strong, trust‑based relationships. Continuous Improvement: Identify recurring data‑entry challenges and propose process enhancements to the management team. Team Collaboration: Participate in virtual team huddles, share knowledge, and support colleagues during peak periods. Essential Qualifications To thrive in this role, you should possess the following foundation: Education: An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
