[Remote] CCH Axcess Product Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary internal expert for CCH Axcess Tax, UltraTax, and related modules (e.g., Scan, Autoflow, Document, Workflow)
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize system settings, templates, diagnostics, and calculations
  • Evaluate and implement product enhancements, updates, and new features
  • Partner with leadership to align tax software capabilities with firm-wide workflows and growth strategy
  • Serve as a point of escalation for software issues
  • Troubleshoot system errors, calculation discrepancies, and integration issues
  • Liaise with Wolters Kluwer and Thomson Reuters support teams to resolve issues efficiently
  • Proactively identify recurring issues and implement preventive solutions
  • Develop and deliver training for tax professionals on CCH Axcess and UltraTax
  • Support automation initiatives, including scan-and-populate and data flow between systems

Skills

  • 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with CCH Axcess and/or UltraTax
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex tax software issues
  • Experience with tax automation tools (Scan/Autoflow, SurePrep, or similar)
  • Prior involvement in system implementations or firm integrations
