Receiving Clerk - Seasonal

Wychmere Beach Club is seeking to hire a seasonal Receiving Clerk. The Receiving Clerk is responsible for assisting in the receiving, unloading, stocking, and delivery of goods across our resort property and between the resort and our off-site food and beverage storage facility. A successful Receiving Clerk will be reliable, possess a strong work ethic, learn quickly, and be able to follow instructions from the Purchasing Manager.

Schedule: This position runs from April through mid-November; in April, May and November it will be approx. 25 per week and June through October approx. 40 hrs per week. Weekend availability required in height of season.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Purchasing/Receiving, hotel, grocery, or restaurant experience is preferred
  • Must possess a valid US Driver's license and have a clear driving record
  • Must be able to comfortably lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time up to and including an entire shift
  • Must be able to work in outdoor environments
  • Must be able to climb stairs
  • Familiarity with food and beverage products and general inventory storage requirements preferred.

Pay: $23.00 per hour
