The PV Crew Lead is part of the installation and service team responsible for the highest quality installation of solar electric (PV) and other complimentary systems for our clients. This position includes, but is not limited to, working with and leading our solar electric teams in both residential and commercial settings. The Crew Lead's primary responsibility is to guide and coordinate the installation team and communicating clearly with our customers. Work also includes loading/unloading equipment, staging and ladder work, using hand tools and carrying equipment on rooftops, installing conduit, and system wiring.

Description

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but are not limited to):
- Leading crews through effective and efficient installations
- Provides support and guidance to fellow crew members
- Be main point of contact for customer
- Ensure safety standards are maintained throughout install
- Assists in training of new installers
- Coordinates job requirements/needs with Operations Team
- Oversees project loading to ensure all necessary materials and tools arrive on the job site
- Help maintain tools and trucks in excellent condition
- Ensures general site preparation and clean-up is conducted
Requirements
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS (include, but are not limited to):
- Journeyperson or Master Electrician license
- Must have and maintain a clean and valid driver's record
- Must acquire (with company support) and maintain a valid ME Electrical Helper Card
- Must have electrical, construction, and/or roofing experience
- Must have excellent customer service skills in every interaction
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Effectively coordinate and communicate with others
- Must be able to comfortably lift 40 lbs., climb ladders, work on roofs and in crawl spaces in varying hot and cold temperatures
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic construction techniques
- Teamwork - able to establish collaborative working relationships with peers and supervisors
- Basic computer competence including Excel, Word and other commonly used software, including internet and email
- Code of Conduct - act accordingly as a guest at our customer's home
- Strong desire to work for a renewable energy company, and interest in developing professionally
- A passion for energy efficiency and a drive to transition New England away from fossil fuel dependence
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- OSHA 10 hour safety course
- 2+ years of solar/electrical experience preferred
