Public Health Nurse

Conduct health assessments and screenings to identify and prevent health issues. Collaborate with community partners, such as healthcare providers and community organizations, to coordinate and improve health services. Provide direct nursing care and treatment to individuals and families in the community. Educate individuals and groups on health promotion, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices. Develop and maintain relationships with community members and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Collect, analyze, and report on data related to public health programs and initiatives. Stay updated on current public health issues and trends to inform program development and implementation. Serve as a resource and advocate for community members, connecting them with necessary health services and resources. Adhere to all state and federal regulations and guidelines related to public health nursing. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all services provided and outcomes achieved. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development and evaluation of public health policies and procedures. Continuously evaluate and improve public health programs to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. Serve as a role model and mentor for other nursing staff and students.
