Project Manager - Hotel & Leisure Sector (Construction Consultancy)

The project: We require a project manager who will be responsible for the delivery of multiple new build hotel and waterpark projects across Europe. This role sits in our consultancy business, specifically the commercial private sector, so the successful candidate will have the opportunity to broaden their experience beyond hotels and leisure in the delivery of fit-out and relocation projects for major corporate clients.  As Project Manager, you will have sole responsibility for the delivery of several new build projects. Reporting into the Mace Account/Programme lead, the successful candidate will manage projects within the UK, Spain and Turkey. Some European travel should be expected.  You’ll be responsible for:<ul style="margin-top:0cm;" type="disc"><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l1 level1 lfo2;tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Applying technical H&S expertise and promote an inclusive culture.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l1 level1 lfo2;tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Delivering project plans from inception to construction.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l1 level1 lfo2;tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Managing tasks and deliverables supporting senior leaders.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l1 level1 lfo2;tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Overseeing budgets, risks and long‑term functional development.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l1 level1 lfo2;tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Managing design and consultant teams collaboratively.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l1 level1 lfo2;tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Managing teams and stakeholders to achieve KPIs.</li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l1 level1 lfo2;tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Networking and drive best‑practice adoption across programmes.</li></ul>You’ll need to have:<ul style="margin-top:0cm;" type="disc"><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1;tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development. </li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1;tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Previous experience working for a consultancy for the built environment desired. </li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1;tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Experience in the successful delivery phase of hotel and leisure new build projects and programmes. </li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1;tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Property or infrastructure project management expertise. </li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1;tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Commercial and financial acumen. </li><li class="MsoNormal" style="mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1;tab-stops:list 36.0pt;">Spanish/Turkish language skills beneficial, but not essential.</li></ul>Our valuesSafety first - Going home safe and well: We champion a safe, diverse and inclusive working environment, understanding the importance of wellbeing in every team.Client focus - Deliver on our promise: We own the quality of deliverables, strategic outcomes and build long term relationships with our clients.Integrity - Always do the right thing: We influence positive outcomes within our industry, while always aligning with our compliance obligations.Create opportunity - For our people to excel: We champion a continuous improvement culture throughout all activities, inspiring our people and teams to develop.Mace is an inclusive employer and welcomes interest from a diverse range of candidates.
