Production Assistant
Job Summary
The Production Assistant supports the production line, broadcast crew, and camera crew as directed by team leads. You will assist with setup/strike, manage crafty, stay alert to evolving needs, and ensure smooth day-of-show operations. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take direction are essential.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist production line, broadcast crew, and camera operators as needed
- Stay attentive and proactive; anticipate crew needs and respond quickly
- Help with load-in/load-out, setup, and breakdown of broadcast equipment and craft services
- Support cable management, gear organization, and basic stage/set prep
- Run errands onsite, distribute call sheets/credentials, and help maintain a clean, safe workspace
- Follow instructions from Production Manager, Broadcast Lead, and department heads with a positive, team-first attitude
Key Success Indicators
- 1+ years of live event or broadcast experience
- Ability to drive a vehicle; valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Willingness to work long hours, nights, and weekends when needed
- Strong communication, punctuality, and attention to detail
- Calm under pressure and adaptable to changing priorities
- Familiarity with gaming/esports or live broadcast environments is a plus
