SHIFT WORK (Nights/Weekends/Holidays) 40 hours per week
Duties (Code Enforcement/Compliance):
Under the direction of the unit supervisor, responsible for a variety of inspections and for investigating complaints as well as the identification of various code/ordinance/regulation violations. Additional duties include serving violation notices, issuing, preparing reports, and appearing at hearings as necessary.

Requirements: Complete the POLICE EMPLOYMENT application, submit COPIES OF required documents. All applicants must provide proof of the following at time of submitting an application: • High school diploma or G.E.D. • Honorable Discharge if any service in Armed Forces • Copy of Original Driver's License *MUST TAKE THE CJBAT TEST AT BROWARD COLLEGE AND SUBMIT PASSING SCORE WITH APPLICATION. NOTE: Must pass Polygraph exam and successfully pass a background screening. Must be at least 18 year of age Must have a driving record satisfactory to the City's standards. CJSTC 58 Background Investigation Waiver Form signed AND notarized.
