Loss Control Inspector
<br><p>Our company is seeking a self-driven and detail-oriented professional who can work part time and has a flexible, time managed schedule. This is an independent contractor position. The main purpose of this job will be to inspect residential and commercial properties. The surveyor/inspector will assess risks at the property sites, take photos and create reports. The details of the job include reviewing the survey assignment for what is needed for each inspection, calling insured to setup the inspection, travel to the confirmed property site, take interior and/ or exterior photos of the property, complete then email a short form on Word document to supervisor. The inspections are done for insurance purposes only and are time sensitive. This is perfect for someone who has experience in contracting, property management, inspections, real estate and the insurance field. The pay starts at $75-$100 PER full interior/exterior inspections and is dependent on the type of inspection you are assigned. YOU GET PAID PER CASE, NOT BY THE HOUR. Workload may fluctuate. Basic training will be by phone call/email with supervisor. There will be regular follow-ups with the supervisor along with any questions or concerns directed to supervisor for assistance on a case-by-case basis.</p><p><br></p><p>An Insurance Risk Surveyor or loss control inspector- assesses residential, commercial and industrial properties to identify potential hazards. The potential risks or hazards include but are not limited to fire, theft or any general liability risks. The duties include taking photos and providing detailed reports on templates provided by Pioneer Inspection Services that help determine risks. The inspector (surveyor) will contact insured (info provided on forms) to setup on-site inspections and conduct the described inspection within a timely fashion and due date given on the request provided by Pioneer. The inspector will analyze safety measures, may take notes and provide photos along with making recommended improvements on the provided form/template. The inspector is required to send completed reports back to the supervisor within a timely manner with edits made. Core Duties and Responsibilities:</p><p><br></p><p>Site Inspections: Physically inspecting commercial, industrial, and/or residential properties to evaluate hazards.</p><p><br></p><p>Risk Analysis: Evaluating risks related to fire (construction/protection), liability (employee/public safety), and security (theft/burglary).</p><p>Microsoft Word /PDF compatibilities for uploading photos and reports onto company database</p><p>Reporting: Producing detailed reports and fully complying to use of company database</p><p>Inspector Requirements must meet reliable means of transportation, laptop/computer, cell phone (smartphone) and/or digital camera to take photos for inspection purposes only.</p><p>The pay is bi-weekly basis as an Independent Contractor and Inspectors (Surveyors) are paid per each jobsite inspection completed.</p>
