This job opening is for the position of Inflight Crewmember based in Los Angeles, California, a critical hub for JetBlue Airways. This entry-level role centers on delivering outstanding customer service in the Airlines, Aviation, Hospitality, and Travel industries. The role offers a competitive annual base salary ranging from $45,000 to $70,000, approximately $4,800 per month, alongside a comprehensive benefits package. Training is provided onsite in Los Angeles for local candidates, with successful applicants invited to attend a comprehensive six-week paid training program at JetBlue University in Orlando, Florida.
As an Inflight Crewmember, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and security of passengers from boarding through to deplaning. Beyond safety, you will embody the JetBlue spirit by delivering caring, compassionate, and fun customer service throughout the flight. Working onboard JetBlue’s modern Airbus and Embraer fleet, you will be a vital part of creating a positive experience for every traveler while representing the brand’s commitment to hospitality excellence.
The role is highly visible and demands a strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and adaptability. Given the nature of airline operations, schedules are variable and determined by seniority. You must be prepared for varying shifts including early morning departures, late-night red-eye flights, weekend duties, public holidays, and on-call reserve shifts where you might be called with short notice.
