Hospital Coding Specialist II – Inpatient

Job Description:

  • Ensure accurate coding for various patient classes
  • Assign hospital codes for outpatient encounters
  • Maintain coding knowledge and participate in continuous learning
  • Contact necessary personnel for coding accuracy

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Certification in RHIT, RHIA, CCS, COC-A, COC, CPC-H, CPC, or CIC
  • One (1) year of hospital coding experience
