Fleet Diesel Mechanic B

Reyes Fleet Management is hiring immediately at our Reyes Coca Cola Bottling facility in Alsip, IL. Seeking a Fleet Diesel Mechanic B to help with repairs and maintenance on trailer/tractor equipment.

  

Shift: Full-Time l 3rd Shift Sunday-Thursday 9:00PM - 5:30AM

Pay: $30.08/HR

CDL Incentive Pay (Additional $1.00/per hour with active CDL A license)-Preferred but not required

Position Responsibilities: 

  • The Fleet Technician focuses on the preventative maintenance of the fleet diesel equipment, identifying root causes of basic failures to perform repairs as needed 
  • As the Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance 
  • You will inspect brake systems to ensure that machines are in proper operating condition and make sure that equipment has required licensing and registration  
  • You will use hand tools and power tools such as screwdrivers and perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery 
  • You will examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices 
  • Other duties as assigned
