We are seeking highly skilled and passionate Event Chefs to join our dynamic culinary team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidates will be responsible for preparing and executing exceptional culinary experiences for a diverse range of events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale corporate functions and weddings. This role requires creativity, precision, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative and customized menus in collaboration with clients and event planners, considering dietary restrictions, cultural preferences, and event themes.
- Oversee and execute all aspects of food preparation, from mise en place to cooking, plating, and presentation, ensuring consistency and excellence.
- Manage kitchen operations during events, including supervising junior chefs and kitchen staff, delegating tasks, and ensuring smooth workflow.
- Maintain strict adherence to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP, local regulations) at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and place orders for ingredients to minimize waste and ensure availability.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest culinary standards, paying meticulous attention to taste, texture, and visual appeal.
- Adapt quickly to changing event requirements, last-minute requests, and unforeseen challenges with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Collaborate effectively with front-of-house staff, event managers, and other departments to ensure seamless event execution.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Provide training and guidance to junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
