Location: UAE Location: Dubai Industry: Education Function: Director Salary: 28000-42000 monthly (Market estimated) Gender: Any Candidate Nationality: Any Candidate Preferred Location: Any Job Type: Full-time Position Overview The Director of The Future School will design and deliver a future ready, enterprise focused strategy that builds student agency, employability skills, and clear pathways into employment, self employment, and entrepreneurship. The role drives flagship initiatives, partnerships, and coaching models that connect learning to real industry outcomes. Core Duties * Design, deliver, and evaluate enterprise and employability programs aligned with school strategy * Lead flagship initiatives including Enterprise and Employability Week, Student Careers Fair, and Future School Work Experience * Embed entrepreneurial learning across curriculum, enrichment, and co curricular activities * Line manage the Careers Lead to align career education with enterprise goals * Conduct annual program reviews to ensure relevance, quality, and progression * Provide 1 to 1 and group mentoring for students exploring startups and self employment * Build partnerships with entrepreneurs, incubators, universities, and local and international businesses * Organize visits, panels, projects, internships, and other real world learning opportunities * Source and secure sponsorships to support student initiatives and enterprise programs * Develop an alumni network to provide mentoring, talks, and work related opportunities * Lead parent engagement through workshops, newsletters, and briefings on enterprise pathways * Collaborate with senior leadership and staff to integrate enterprise across school life * Promote The Future School mission and impact through social media and internal channels * Track student businesses, projects, and enterprise portfolios with clear KPIs and reports Ideal Profile * Proven experience in enterprise, youth entrepreneurship, or future skills education * Qualification in business, education, or enterprise leadership (or equivalent) * Understanding of mentoring, startup culture, innovation, and student agency * Experience working with partners, funders, and sponsors; strong stakeholder management * Knowledge of employment trends and the evolving world of work * Excellent interpersonal, coaching, public speaking, and communication skills * Creative, proactive, solutions focused, with high standards of planning and reporting * Collaborative team player willing to go above and beyond to drive innovation and impact What We Offer * Strategic leadership scope with high visibility and community impact * Extensive professional development and cross network collaboration * Competitive tax free package with accommodation, medical insurance, flights, and other benefits About the Company GEMS Education is a leading K 12 education provider in the UAE and globally, recognized for inclusive, high performance learning environments and strong pathways for staff growth and advancement.
