Daily Office Cleaner - EC2A 4HJ
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Office Cleaner over two spaces in the building - Main office on second floor and one in the basement of the building .
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic office environment, ensuring that all communal and individual workspaces are kept in excellent condition each day. Duties
- Second Floor – Main Office
- Basement Space (much smaller)
- Rate: £13.50-£15 per hour dependant on experience
- Morning Cleaning -
- Monday: 2.5 hours (6:00am – 8:30am)
- Tuesday: 3 hours (6:00am – 9:00am) – includes 30 mins in additional space in basement
- Wednesday: 2.5 hours (6:00am – 8:30am)
- Thursday: 2.5 hours (6:00am – 8:30am)
- Friday: 3 hours (6:00am – 9:00am) – includes 30 mins in additional space in basement
- Additional Details:
- Machine washing of cloths and tea towels at your home will be paid as an additional 1 hour every other week.
- No contract.
- Paid monthly.
- Pay is based on hours worked (pay as you work).
- Office closures only occur around Christmas and New Year (2 weeks’ notice will be given).

- Clean across all office areas
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and break areas.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately in the shared bin area.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, kitchen roll and hand soap as needed
- Fridge cleaning every two weeks and disposing any out of date items.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass partitions, and other fixtures around the space.
- Loading and emptying dishwasher and cleaning of two coffee machines daily.
- Ensure cleaning equipment is well-maintained and stored correctly after use
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Checking all heating and lights are switched off daily in all spaces.
- Reporting to manager any issues or broken equipment found in the spaces as soon as possible.
- Reporting to manager when cleaning supplies are low.
- Maintaining cleaning cupboards and kitchen units to a high standard.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within set timeframes
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards hygiene standards
- Previous commercial experience is essential.
Only closure for the office around Christmas and New Year and 2 weeks’ notice will be given.
