Why This Role Matters – Join the Front Line of Digital Defense As a Cyber Security Analyst on Gigspire’s Customer Operations team, you will be an essential part of our mission to safeguard revenue, reputation, and user trust for hundreds of customers worldwide. You’ll work hand‑in‑hand with clients, dissect massive traffic streams, and help clean the internet of malicious bots and web threats. Your insights will directly influence the next generation of security features and keep the Talvora Defense Platform ahead of the evolving threat landscape. Location & Schedule Base location: Flexionis DFW office (Dallas‑Fort Worth metro area). Screen time commitment: Minimum 6 hours of active on‑screen work, three days per week. Night shift: One rotating night shift per week (exact timing set after hire). Weekend rotation: Two weekend shifts per month, scheduled in coordination with the team. Flexible hours: Outside of core shift requirements, you may structure your remaining hours to meet project goals. Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do Every Day Analyze customer traffic data to uncover hidden threats, false positives, and emerging attack patterns using ElasticSearch and BigQuery (SQL) . Provide Tier‑2 technical support in real‑time, delivering clear, professional responses to customer inquiries. Draft detailed incident reports that translate complex technical findings into actionable recommendations for clients. Maintain rapid, courteous communication with a global customer base, ensuring swift resolution of security incidents. Partner with Research & Development and Threat Research teams to refine detection algorithms and improve mitigation capabilities across the Jobtrix platform. Design, plan, and implement internal automation projects that increase efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance service quality. Participate in scheduled shift work—including night and weekend rotations—to sustain 24/7 coverage for our customers. Who You Are – Essential Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences. Minimum 1 + year of hands‑on experience analyzing large, complex datasets (data manipulation, statistical analysis, deriving insights). Solid understanding of web architecture and protocols (CDN, HTML, DOM, JavaScript, HTTP/HTTPS, IPv4/IPv6, etc.). Familiarity with the current cybersecurity threat landscape, including botnet activity, credential stuffing, and automated abuse. Proficiency in SQL; experience writing complex queries in BigQuery or similar data warehouses. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Preferred Qualifications & Nice‑to‑Have Skills Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools such as Splunk, Elastic Stack, or QRadar. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their security services. Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation and data processing.
