Controller (Contract-to-Hire) | Fully Remote | P/E SaaS Our client, a rapidly growing PE-backed technology services organization, is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead and scale its accounting operations within a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an operationally minded accounting leader who enjoys balancing strategic ownership with day-to-day execution while helping modernize processes, systems, and reporting infrastructure. The organization operates a recurring revenue/subscription-based business model and is preparing for continued M&A activity and long-term scaling initiatives over the next several years. This opportunity is in a contract to hire capacity and will require candidates be able to interview and start quickly! Converting salary ranges will fall between $150-200k + Bonus Why This Opportunity Stands Out<ul><li>Fully remote anywhere in the US</li><li>PE-backed growth environment with strong leadership</li><li>Opportunity to help re-architect and scale accounting processes</li><li>Strong work/life balance for a growth-stage environment</li><li>Exposure to future M&A activity and operational buildout</li><li>High visibility with executive leadership</li></ul> Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close/reporting processes</li><li>Oversee GL, AP, billing, and collections operations</li><li>Manage and mentor accounting staff in a “player-coach” capacity</li><li>Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and workflow optimization</li><li>Maintain audit-ready financials and strong internal controls</li><li>Support M&A integration activities and financial operations scaling</li><li>Serve as functional owner of ERP/accounting systems</li><li>Partner cross-functionally with leadership across finance and operations</li></ul> Ideal Background<ul><li>7+ years of progressive accounting experience</li><li>Blend of public accounting and corporate accounting preferred</li><li>Subscription revenue / recurring revenue experience required</li><li>SaaS, technology, MSP, or PE-backed company experience preferred</li><li>Strong systems/process implementation experience</li><li>Experience operating in fast-paced/high-growth environments</li><li>Sage Intacct and Bill.com experience strongly preferred</li><li>CPA preferred but not required</li></ul> Compensation<ul><li>Competitive base salary + bonus</li><li>Contract-to-hire opportunity</li><li>Fully remote flexibility</li></ul> If interested in learning more, please apply directly or message me confidentially.
