The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end coating process, ensuring that our industrial products, specifically metal and rubber components, meet the highest standards of durability, adhesion, and aesthetic finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Surface Preparation: Perform professional-grade surface preparation, including chemical degreasing and mechanical cleaning (sandblasting/sanding) to ensure optimal coating anchorage.
- Application: Execute industrial coating processes such as spray coating, dip coating, or roller coating with precision.
- Quality Control: Conduct rigorous inspections using DFT (Dry Film Thickness) gauges and perform adhesion tests (e.g., Cross-cut tests) to ensure specifications are met.
- Process Management: Monitor and control coating viscosity, GSM/DPU (coating weight), and manage drying/curing oven parameters.
- Technical Compliance: Interpret Technical Data Sheets (TDS) for accurate mixing ratios and pot-life management.
- Troubleshooting: Proactively identify and rectify common defects such as fisheyes, orange peel, uneven coating, or contamination.
