SHEIN remains committed to making the beauty of fashion accessible to all, promoting its industry-leading, on-demand production methodology, for a smarter, future-ready industry.</p><p><br></p><p>To learn more about SHEIN, visit www.sheingroup.com. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Summary </strong></p><p>This is an exciting senior legal role for a UK, Irish or another European jurisdiction</p><p>qualified commercial lawyer supporting SHEIN’s business and operations in the region.</p><p>This will be a broad advisory role dealing with general commercial matters working</p><p>directly with senior stakeholders across the business.</p><p>The successful candidate must be inquisitive, enthusiastic about e-commerce and</p><p>innovation, enjoy a fast-paced environment and being continually challenged, and</p><p>demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p><ul><li>Providing legal support to business teams in relation to a wide range of commercial matters the business general faces</li><li>Collaborating with the relevant business teams to ensure compliance with relevant rules and regulations, implementing and improving processes and procedures</li><li>Keeping appraised of the latest laws and regulations impacting the company and its operations in the region and advise on best practice accordingly</li><li>Dealing with regulatory authorities on consultation, enquiries and investigations</li><li>Working closely with the rest of the EMEA team and the global legal team on group’s global and region legal and compliance projects</li><li>Managing external counsel</li><li>Providing day-to-day legal support to business teams and developing strategies for handling legal issues in creative, efficient, and business-centric ways.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills and Qualifications </strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification at reputable law firm and/or large corporations. Good amount of in-house experience required</li><li>Practical experience in one or more the following areas is essential: consumer protection, digital regulations relevant for marketplace, trade and logistics,product regulation, payment or IP, or other experiences gained from an e-commerce or marketplace or related business</li><li>High degree of independence, initiative, and good judgement. Commercial and pragmatic in your approach to legal advice whilst maintaining a strong sense of professional accountability</li><li>Experience and capacity to lead multi-jurisdictional projects and coordinate external advisors.</li><li>Ability to deliver results, both as an individual contributor and as a member of the European and global legal teams.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>SHEIN is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse workplace </strong></p><p><strong>environment.</strong></p>
