Aerie - Brand Ambassador (Sales Associate)

## Key Role Overview As a part-time Brand Ambassador you bring the brand to life in-store by delivering an exceptional shopping experience, building brand loyalty, and representing company values. The role focuses on guest engagement using the AEO Selling Model, product education, promoting loyalty channels, and flexing across salesfloor, cash & wrap, fitting room, and stockroom as needed. You will proactively resolve guest concerns, support team objectives, and help drive store performance. ## Key Responsibilities - Engage with every guest using the AEO Selling Model and a "friends first" mindset to help them find what they need and create a positive shopping experience. - Educate guests on AE & Aerie product details and make product suggestions to meet guest needs. - Introduce and promote the AEO loyalty program and other brand channels to guests. - Flex between Salesfloor, Cash & Wrap, Fitting Room, and Stockroom duties as needed. - Proactively resolve guest concerns while adhering to company policies. - Collaborate with team members to assist in store tasks and support a teamwork-focused environment. - Adhere to AEO policies and procedures and maintain integrity in all actions. ## Required Qualifications - Minimum age: 16 years. - Availability to work peak shopping times including evenings, weekends, and holidays. - Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; enjoys interacting with people and can handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment. - Ability to follow company policies and work effectively as part of a team. ## Preferred Qualifications - Prior retail or customer-facing experience (preferred but not strictly required). - Familiarity with AE & Aerie products and enthusiasm for the brand. - Willingness to learn and apply the AEO Selling Model and other store processes. ## Compensation & Benefits - Salary range: Not specified in the posting; actual starting pay is determined by factors including location and relevant experience. - Associates may be eligible for paid sick leave and discretionary REAL rewards subject to eligibility requirements. - Paid time off, paid sick leave, and holiday pay vary by job level, location, employment classification, and years of service. - Employee discount: 40% off AE & Aerie products year-round (plus seasonal discounts) and opportunities to participate in store contests with prizes. ## Additional Information - Position is an in-store, part-time retail role; hiring for Brand Ambassador and Stock positions is based on store need and applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. - AEO is an Equal Opportunity Employer and provides reasonable accommodation for religion and disability in accordance with applicable law. - Training is provided for the AEO Selling Model and other job-specific processes; roles may offer development opportunities and potential for advancement.
