AE - Brand Ambassador (Sales Associate)

## Key Role Overview As a part-time Brand Ambassador you bring the brand to life by providing outstanding in-store guest experiences, building brand loyalty, and representing company values. The role focuses on customer engagement, product education, and supporting store operations across sales floor, cash & wrap, fitting room, and stockroom zones. ## What are the Key Responsibilities? - Use the AEO Selling Model to engage every guest with a "friends first" mindset and help them find what they need. - Educate guests on AE & Aerie product details and make product suggestions to meet their needs. - Introduce guests to the AEO loyalty program and other brand channels. - Flex between Salesfloor, Cash & Wrap, Fitting Room, and Stockroom zones as needed. - Proactively resolve guest concerns while adhering to company policies. - Assist teammates and contribute to team goals; participate in store initiatives and contests. - Always adhere to AEO's policies and procedures and act with integrity. ## What are the Required Qualifications? - Must be at least 16 years of age. - Availability to work retail hours when guests shop, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. - Strong people skills and a customer-service orientation; ability to interact with guests positively. - Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and adapt to different store zones. - Willingness to follow company policies and procedures. ## What are the Preferred Qualifications? - Previous retail experience is a plus. - Passion for AE and Aerie products and enthusiasm for the brand. - Interest in learning new skills and potential for career advancement within the company. ## Compensation & Benefits - Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location (no specific salary range provided). - Subject to eligibility requirements, associates may be eligible to receive paid sick leave and other REAL rewards at AEO's discretion. - Paid Time Off, paid sick leave, and holiday pay vary by job level, employment classification (part-time or full-time / exempt or non-exempt), job location, and years of service. - Year-round 40% associate discount on AE & Aerie products (plus additional seasonal discounts with new floorsets). - Participation in store contests for chances to win free merchandise and other exclusive prizes. ## Additional Information - This is a part-time, in-store role; hiring for Brand Ambassador and Stock positions is based on need and applications for those roles are accepted on an ongoing basis. - For other store roles, application windows may apply and could be extended based on applicant volume. - AEO is an Equal Opportunity Employer and provides reasonable accommodation for religion and disability in accordance with applicable law. - Location-specific employment terms and benefits may apply; actual pay and benefits depend on location, experience, and classification.
