Important Scheduling Information

  • This is a part-time, per-diem, on-call position
  • Hours are not guaranteed
  • Shifts are offered based on facility and client needs
  • Availability can vary week to week
  • We are continually growing and seeking new facilities and clients to expand shift opportunities

We currently have a high volume of requests in the Cupertino area, and we also work with facilities and private clients throughout the Bay Area.

Our highest priority at this time is NOC (overnight) coverage.
AM and PM shifts may also be available at times.

What You’ll Do

Under the direction of nursing leadership, you will:

  • Provide hands-on care according to each resident’s plan of care
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
  • Take accurate vital signs and record measurements
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, turning, and positioning
  • Observe and promptly report changes in condition or behavior
  • Assist with medication administration
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation
  • Offer emotional support and companionship
  • Uphold HIPAA confidentiality and resident rights
  • Act as a Mandated Reporter for suspected abuse or neglect

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Current California CNA certification
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Current TB test (required)
  • Current physical exam (required)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work NOC and weekend shifts preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, compassionate, and dependable
  • Familiarity with medical equipment and charting software preferred
