2nd Shift - General Maintenance Technician

Position Summary: We’re seeking a dependable and hands-on General Maintenance Technician to support daily operations across our facilities. In this role, you’ll help maintain a safe, clean, and functional environment by performing light mechanical repairs, general upkeep, and routine maintenance tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and takes pride in keeping facilities running smoothly.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00/hour

Schedule: 2:00PM - 10:30PM, Monday - Friday. Flexibility to adjust schedule as needed

  Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a facilities or office maintenance environment preferred
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and basic hand tools
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and climb ladders
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Previous custodial experience is a plus
  • Flexibility to adjust schedule as needed
Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform minor plumbing repairs and clear drains
  • Replace ceiling tiles, lamps, air filters, and fire extinguishers
  • Conduct touch-up painting in common areas and mechanical rooms
  • Maintain and repair door hardware, blinds, and furniture
  • Assist with general labor tasks such as organizing materials and cleaning equipment
  • Report safety hazards and larger maintenance issues to the appropriate team
  • Follow ABM and client safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures
  • Support seasonal and event-related maintenance needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
